"The Blue Jay’s Party"

A surrealistic painting that combines in a realistic interpretation, a fantasy display inspired from the micro-world of birds and insects. The blue jay is having a party with some friends around. I used acrylics and iridescent colours for the butterfly and the ribbons. Acrylic underpainting and then some finishing layers in oil paints.
