… At that moment, the clearing was filled with the bright light of the Aurora that descended upon them in the splendour of the starry night.
The Glory Celebrations from the Book of Life
A reunion of birds and fluffy friends to fight climate change and exploring fantasy lands of heroes and fairytales in a surrealistic Candyland vision.
May the Glory Celebrations from the Book of Life be bestowed upon all you believers in Candy Wonderland, with the Glory flag waving high and lollypops aplenty. Imagine the afterparty when our feathered friends discover the Book of Life and the festivities begin. With towers of candies and ice cream, your dreams will come true when you realise that SOMEDAY is today.

“Human Circus”
“La Famiglia” - oil on linen 120x140 cm opens the “Human Circus”new series this May 2022.
The journey in this new series addresses, in a surreal way, some ideas related to the interaction between power/domination and the social plan religion/community, telling stories about human dreams and aspirations and how they reflect in our social constructs and the limitations of everyday life.
Although here I used a classic technique using oil on linen, for the next works, I will use acrylic and spray-paint in mixed media.
The idea behind "La Famiglia" is "Freedom for the Human Circus !", the manifesto for the human nature's need for freedom - the freedom “to be”, as the free will wishes, the desire through which the freedom sometimes ends up dominating in a really comic way, even imposing the punishment of one's own identity destruction as well as the environment.
