13 Roses

"13 Roses"

oil on canvas 130x80 cm, London 2021

A special work of art, from the perspective of integration in the classical concept of becoming and transformation, with roots in the specific philosophical and metaphysical approaches of the Pre-Raphaelite Movement period just before the birth of the Belle Epoque. Creating this ambient atmosphere from Romanticism, where that art is essentially spiritual in character, the theme of Transformation or “Death” always leads us to the imminent and much more appealing idea of an immediate new beginning which includes in itself hope, optimism and implicitly the rebirth to a higher reality.
